FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is a Public Adjuster?

A Public Adjuster is an insurance claims advocate who represents policyholders in their claim filings with their carrier.  A Public Adjuster works for you, the insured, and not the insurance company.  By hiring a Public Adjuster you receive help in filing your claim and do not have to rely on the insurance company adjuster who works for and is paid by the insurance company.

How can a Public Adjuster help me?

A Public Adjuster is familiar with insurance policy and coverage issues.  Since they represent insured’s on a daily basis, they are familiar with claim presentation and properly scoping a loss to ensure that you are paid the maximum amount under your policy thereby bringing you back to pre-loss conditions.

Why don’t I just work with the insurance company’s adjuster?

It is unlikely that an insurance adjuster who works for, reports to, and is paid by your insurance company will reach the same dollar conclusion in scoping your loss as a Public Adjuster would.  Insurance companies are businesses and the adjusters they send out represent their business and their bottom line.  Who would you want to satisfy more, the person signing your paycheck or someone your employer asks to visit? The only way to ensure that you are properly represented is by hiring a Public Adjuster who can level the playing field.  To drive this point home…would you go to court without a lawyer?

What is the cost to involve a Public Adjuster?

A public Adjuster receives a fee percentage of the total settlement.  By working strictly on a contingency fee basis we have to know our business and properly represent you or we don’t get paid.  Since every claim is different, we offer a free no-obligation consultation to help determine what fee will be charged.

What if the insurance company doesn’t pay, do I still owe the Public Adjuster money?

No, if there is no recovery- there is no charge.

I’ve already received a payment from my insurance company, but when I went to get the job done I found out it would cost more.  Is there anything you can do?

Yes, a Public Adjuster will re-open your claim filing and make the necessary requests for additional funds if you were underpaid.  Call us and we can re-examine where you may be entitled to additional monies.

What is the next step if I am interested?

Call us at 877-767-LOSS (5677) and ask for a free consultation.  There is no obligation and if we can at least offer some education than we have done our job.  We can review your loss and determine the best course of action.  Ultimately, our goal is to educate the public and the biggest compliment you can give us if we’ve helped you is to send us a referral.

WE INTEND TO EARN YOUR BUSINESS AND LOOK FORWARD TO SERVING YOU.
